Namaste

Wholeness in Living is an experience that comes from the soul and “Namaste”, a word derived from Sanskrit, employed as a common spoken or silent salutation in Indian and Nepali cultures, captures my own interpretation of Oneness. In yoga circles it means: “The light within me honors the light within you.”

A dear friend of mine passed to me a version that I wish to share with you this day as I celebrate my birthday. I bow to you:

‘Namaste’

I honor the place in you
of love,
of life,
of truth,
of peace,
I honor the place in you
where the entire universe resides.
I honor the place in you
where if you are in that place in you
and I am in that place in me,
we are One.
