During a Superbowl Party, once the game was over, a young lady approached me and soon enough we were engaged in a lively conversation about meaningful aspects related with the mission in our lives. She is in the process of clarifying her own purpose during her college years and I could sense a bit of despair and anxiety as she is still in a state of uncertainty. My main comment was, “Follow the call of your Heart.”

Discovering a life’s mission is a personal endeavor, many times related with a renewed sense of social responsibility. Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Abraham Lincoln, Peace Pilgrim and many others through history have dramatized in their own vivid ways the calling of their souls.

The answer for each of us comes from within.
